I/O psychology is the scientific study of the workplace. Strategic and theoretical in nature, I/O studies attitudes and behaviors in the workplace. The field of I/O Psychology is a varied one, encompassing almost any aspect of the workplace and individuals working within those organizations. A specialist observes workplace behavior and makes recommendations based on I/O theory and principles. My focus includes, but is not limited to:

  • Organizations transitioning from one stage of a life cycle to the next
  • Work with an organization to change its culture
  • Diagnosing conflict: a critical first step in dealing with workplace issues
  • Diagnosing symptoms of an organization with significant turnover and elevated absenteeism
  • Professional Development: Identify a framework and offer key methodologies for Managers and Small Business Owners to define behavioral trends and navigate complex organizational patterns
